Identity Verification Process
Selfie Submission
Start by capturing a clear and recent selfie using your smartphone or a webcam connected to your computer. This selfie will be cross-referenced with the documents you provide in the subsequent steps, adding an extra layer of security.
Accepted IDs:
We accept various types of identification documents.
🦅 SSN Requirements (US Customers)
✅ Accepted Documents: Social Security Card, Form W-9, Form W-2, Form 1099, or Form 1040.
Requirements: Document must clearly display your legal name and full Social Security Number.
🌐 Tax ID Requirements (International Customers)
✅ Accepted Documents: Official government-issued tax ID card, tax registration certificate, or official tax return/assessment statement.
Two-Sided Documents: If your Tax ID document has both a front and back side, you must submit clear photos of both sides.
❌ Unaccepted Documents & Restrictions
Visas & Permits: Entry visas, residence permits, or travel passes are not accepted as tax identification.
Document Quality: Upload clear, well-lit photos of the original document showing all four corners.
Proof of Address
We accept a wide range of documents as Proof of Address, though it may vary by country.

Active Lease Agreements
Document Requirements
Legal Name & Address: Must clearly show your full legal name and current physical residential address.
Issue Date: Must be issued within the last 60 days with the date clearly visible. (Note: The 60-day rule does not apply to active lease agreements).
Lease Agreements: Must include your full address (including city and ZIP/Postal code).
❌ Unaccepted Documents & Address Restrictions
Identity Documents: Passports, Driver’s Licenses, and National ID Cards are not accepted as proof of address.
P.O. Boxes: We cannot accept P.O. Box addresses. Documents must display a physical residential street address.
Common Rejections and Errors
Photocopies or Printed Documents: Printed copies, paper printouts, or photocopies of IDs are not accepted. Always use the original physical document.
Incomplete or Blurry Submissions: Ensure the document is photographed clearly, with all corners visible and details legible.
Smooth Approval Process
Our AI system is diligently reviewing the information you've provided. If, for any reason, your document or selfie requires further review, our team will manually assess it.
This review happens in the order submissions are received.
Typical timelines:
A few hours to 1–2 business days for normal review
Up to 3–5 business days if there’s high volume or a manual review is needed
