How notifications are delivered
Rise sends notifications through three channels:
Channel | Where you see it |
In-app | The bell icon at the top of your Rise dashboard and the Notifications page |
Push | Real-time alerts on your browser or device, even when Rise isn't open |
Your registered email address |
A single event, like a payment you receive, can notify you through all three channels at once.
View your notifications
Click the bell icon at the top of your dashboard to see your 5 most recent notifications. A dot on the icon means you have unread notifications.
Click View All to open the full list.
You can also go to My Profile → Notifications → All Notifications to see your notification history.
Choose which notifications you get
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select My Profile.
Select Notifications from the left-hand menu.
Click the Preferences tab.
Click a category to expand it:
Payments: Payments you send or receive
Invoices: Invoices you issue or receive
Deposits: Deposits into your accounts
Rise EARN: Rise EARN activity on your accounts
Withdrawals: Withdrawals from your accounts
Currency conversion: Currency conversions on your accounts
For each notification, turn In-app, Push, or Email on or off.
Your changes save automatically.
💡 Tip: Keep at least one channel on for notifications you rely on, like Payment received, so you don't miss important activity.
Turn on push notifications
The first time you turn on a Push toggle, your browser will ask for permission to show notifications. Click Allow.
ℹ️ Push notifications are set up per browser and device. If you switch browsers or devices, you'll need to allow notifications again.
Not getting push notifications?
Check that notifications for Rise are allowed in your browser settings.
Check that your device's notification settings allow alerts from your browser.
If several events happen within a few minutes, you may get only one push notification. All events will still appear in-app.
Emails you can't turn off
Some emails always send to protect your account, even if you turn off email notifications. These include:
Verification and recovery codes
New device sign-in alerts
Security and account recovery updates
⚠️ Rise will never ask for your passkey, password, recovery code, or verification codes by email or chat. If you get a suspicious message, don't click any links and contact our Support team.
