Platform Configurations: Managing Team Invoices and Privacy

The Configs tab allows organization owners and admins to control how team members and contractors interact with the workspace. You can find these options by navigating to Settings > Configs > Platform.

Here you can customize payment workflows and adjust privacy settings to fit your company's operational style.

⏱️ Payment Delay in Minutes

You can set a "buffer" time between a payment being triggered and actually being processed. Setting this to 0 means payments execute immediately upon approval.


🧾 Focus Area: Invoicing Permissions

  • Enable Invoices from Team Members (ON): This allows your payees to issue and submit their own invoices directly through the platform for your approval. This is ideal for teams working with independent contractors who manage their own billing.

  • Enable Invoices from Team Members (OFF): Restricts invoice creation entirely to Admins and Owners. (Note: Many proprietary trading firms prefer to keep this disabled to maintain centralized control over billing.)

🕵️ Focus Area: Anonymous Onboarding

Privacy is highly valued by many users, particularly within the crypto space. Some payees prefer not to share their legal names with the broader organization.

  • Allow Anonymous Team Members (ON): Permits payees to onboard and interact within the workspace using an alias. The payer and the rest of the team will only ever see this alias, keeping the user's personal identity private.

  • The Rise Compliance Guarantee: Allowing anonymity does not compromise security. Even if a payee chooses to display an alias to the payer, Rise still performs full, mandatory KYC (Know Your Customer) verification on the backend. We always verify the true identity of every user to ensure complete regulatory compliance.

  • Allow Anonymous Team Members (OFF): Requires all users to display their verified legal names within the workspace.
