Updated today

Ensuring the security and timeliness of your funds is of utmost importance to us at Rise. This guide walks you through making a secure wire transfer to your financial institution using Rise.

Rise supports withdrawals to many traditional banks worldwide, providing users with a flexible range of options for managing their funds. This includes the compatibility of certain banks and limitations to keep in mind for international and neobank transactions.

Selecting the bank to receive the funds

Let's begin by navigating to the Withdraw page in your Rise account. Here, you'll find a list of all the external accounts connected and the option to perform withdrawals.

If you're linking an international bank, confirm that it supports international transfers or handles transactions in USD. Note that neobank accounts are currently not compatible with Rise.

If you haven't linked a bank account yet, your screen will look like this:

Note: the options may vary according to the country you're located in.

Entering the amount

Once you have a bank account linked, the next step is to enter the amount in USD that you wish to withdraw. Double-check the amount and select the "Confirm" option.

Connecting the owner's wallet

The transaction will then prompt you to connect a wallet, and it's essential to connect the account owner's wallet.

To check if your bank is supported, navigate to the withdrawal setup page and enter your bank's name in the search field. If your bank is listed, you can proceed with the addition and verification. If it's not listed, try searching for an alternative or contact Rise customer support.

You can click here if you need guidance on connecting different wallets.

If you encounter issues, ensure your bank supports USD transfers and international transactions. Double-check the banking details you entered, and reach out to Rise support if you believe your bank should be supported but does not appear as an option.

Congratulations! You have completed the withdrawal. You'll be redirected to the Success page, where you can either Send Another Transaction or review your Account Activity.

Some limitations to be aware of include: neobanks are not fully supported, and certain banks like Afriland First Bank in Cameroon may require manual verification for compatibility. Always verify your bank's presence on the Rise platform before proceeding.

As a bonus, you can just head to the Dashboard tab to access comprehensive details about your account. This includes your balance, pending actions, clients, pay schedules, and transaction history.

For a seamless withdrawal process, ensure your banking details are accurate, your bank supports transaction requirements, and keep your documentation ready. These practices help avoid delays or potential issues with your transactions.

Remember, you can withdraw funds anytime at Rise, empowering you to control your finances.
