Strengthen Your Account Security: Rise's RSK Update Guide
Strengthen Your Account Security: Rise's RSK Update Guide
Updated over a week ago

Your account security is critical, and at Rise, we understand that circumstances may arise where your Rise Security Key (RSK) could be compromised. To protect your account from potential threats, we recommend you change your RSK. By doing so, even if someone gains access to your email and logs into your account, they won't be able to perform critical actions like payments, hiring talent or managers, and more.

Follow these simple steps to change your RSK and bolster your account's protection:

Step 1: Access the Security Page

Start by logging in to your Rise account. Once logged in, navigate to the "Security" page.

Step 2: Click on Recovery Security Key

Locate and click the "Recovery Security Key" option on the Security page. This will initiate the process of changing your RSK.

Step 3: Enter Your Recovery Phrase

To go ahead with the RSK change, you'll need to provide your Seed Phrase. This unique 12-word phrase was generated during onboarding and is critical to your account recovery puzzle. Enter it accurately when prompted and include spaces between each word.

Craft a solid and secure RSK that is difficult for others to guess. Remember to store this new RSK in a safe place for future reference.

Congratulations! Your RSK is Now Updated

By following these straightforward steps, you have successfully changed your Rise Security Key, bolstering the security of your account and keeping potential threats at bay.
