Can I Edit My Bank Account Details?
Bank account details cannot be edited directly once they've been added to Rise. This is by design — bank account information is tied to compliance and security verification, and allowing changes after the fact could expose your account to fraud or errors.
If you need to update your bank details — for example, if you entered something incorrectly or your account has changed — the process is to remove the existing account and add the correct one.
How to Update Your Bank Account Details
Step 1: Go to Withdraw Options
Log in to your Rise account.
In the left sidebar, click the Withdraw tab.
Select Withdraw Options.
Step 2: Remove the Existing Bank Account
Locate the bank account you want to update.
Click the ⋮ menu (three dots) next to the account.
Select Remove and confirm.
Step 3: Add the Correct Bank Account
Click Add Withdrawal Method.
Filter by Fiat to see bank transfer options.
Select your bank type — US Domestic (ACH/Wire) or International USD (SWIFT).
Fill in your correct account details:
Account Nickname
Account Number and Routing Number
Account Type (Checking or Savings)
Review the estimated delivery time and fees, then click Confirm.

⚠️ Important: Re-adding Resets Verification
When you remove and re-add a bank account, the bank verification process restarts from the beginning. This is handled by the bank — not Rise — so the timeline cannot be expedited.
Larger banks using RTP or FedNow: verification is typically instant or very fast.
Smaller banks using ACH: verification can take 3–5 business days.
💡 Tip: Double-check all your bank details carefully before confirming to avoid having to restart the verification process again. See: Understanding the Bank Verification.
What If I Have a Pending Withdrawal?
If you have a withdrawal in progress to the old bank account, do not remove it until the transaction is completed. Removing an account while a transfer is pending may cause the payment to fail or be returned. Check your Account History to confirm that any pending transactions have been settled before making changes.
