This release continues to improve the experience for customers upgraded to the new Rise platform, introducing US Direct Payroll, enhanced security, payment auditing, and reliability improvements across payments, account history, and payroll.

✨New Features

US Direct Payroll Launch

We're excited to introduce US Direct Payroll, a major milestone that enables US-based employers to manage domestic employees alongside global contractors and EOR workers from a single platform.

Organizations now have greater control over:

  • Tax settings and configuration

  • Benefits administration

  • W-2 and tax reporting workflows

  • Payroll setup and maintenance

  • Other self-service payroll operations

Customizable Notifications

Users can now manage their notification preferences directly within Settings:

  • View available email notification categories

  • Enable or disable specific notifications

  • Customize communication preferences based on individual needs

RSK Password Deprecation & Passkey Migration

Introduced a guided passkey migration experience to support the transition away from RSK password signing. Users will receive in-app notifications and onboarding guidance to migrate to passkeys for enhanced account security.

🛠️Improvements

Payments & Reporting

  • Optimized B2B Payment API performance, significantly reducing processing times.

  • Expanded Payment Reports with additional auditing and reconciliation fields.

  • Improved Account History visibility with support for email-based transaction searches.

  • Payment Initiators can now view deposit and funding information relevant to their role.

Document Management

  • Bulk Document Download is now available. Administrators can select and download multiple documents as a ZIP file directly from the Documents tab.

Benefits & Payroll Administration

  • Expanded Benefits Administration capabilities to support more accurate payroll calculations and employee benefit management.

  • Added Continuous Service Date (CSD) support to help organizations manage tenure-based policies such as PTO eligibility, benefits, and service-related entitlements.

Proof of Address Guidance

Added clearer guidance during Proof of Address submission, informing users that identification documents are not accepted as valid Proof of Address documents.

Security & Device Management

  • Enhanced Device Management with improved visibility into connected devices.

  • Strengthened account security through device verification and authentication controls.

  • Improved display of connected device locations by showing full country names instead of country codes.

Duplicate payment detection is now available for batch payment workflows. Potential duplicate payments are automatically identified and flagged prior to submission, helping reduce payment errors and improve payment accuracy at scale.

🐛 Bug Fixes

Accounts Payable

  • Fixed an issue preventing Subscription Fee invoices (Contractor Fees and EOR Fees) from being downloaded as PDFs from the Scheduled tab.

Payroll

  • Fixed an issue where Daily Pay payment completion notifications were incorrectly sent to payers. Notifications are now sent only to the employee receiving the payment.

  • Prevented future dates from being selected when generating Payment Reports.

Account History

  • Fixed an issue where searching by email address did not return matching transactions.

  • Fixed search behavior when clearing the search field, ensuring results reset correctly without displaying errors.

  • Resolved an issue causing contractors to see an "Invalid time value" error when viewing Pending transactions.

Withdrawals

  • Fixed a race condition that could occur when a withdrawal account was still in a pending state during withdrawal processing.

Device Management

  • Fixed an issue where all connected devices incorrectly displayed as Offline, including the currently active device.

  • Corrected device status reporting to accurately reflect active sessions.
