How to Identify and Report Phishing Emails

If you received a suspicious email that looks like it is from Rise Works demanding immediate action, threatening to close your account, or asking you to work with a third party to get your payouts, do not panic—and do not click any links.

Is this email really from Rise Works?

Security is our top priority. Below is a quick guide to help you verify if an email is genuinely from us and what steps you should take next.

3 Ways to Spot a Phishing Attempt

Phishing is an attempt by scammers to trick you into giving away your sensitive information or login credentials. Here is how you can tell an email is fraudulent:

1. Check the Sender's Address

All official, genuine communications from our team will exclusively come from an email address ending in:

  • @riseworks.io

If the display name says "Rise" or "Rise Support," but the actual email address is from a generic provider (like @gmail.com) or a slight misspelling of our domain, it is a scam.

2. Look Out for Threats of Account Deactivation

Rise Works will never send you an email threatening to immediately deactivate or freeze your account. Scammers use artificial urgency to make you act out of fear. If an email claims your account will be shut down unless you click a link right away, it is fake.

3. Requests to Cooperate with Third Parties

We will never contact you demanding that you cooperate, share information, or coordinate with an external, third-party platform (for example, "Hola Prime") to maintain access to your Rise account or to receive your next payouts.

What to Do If You Receive a Suspicious Email

If you receive an email that looks suspicious or matches the red flags above:

  • 🚫 Do NOT click any links or download any attachments.

  • 🚫 Do NOT reply to the sender or provide any personal details.

  • 🗑️ Mark it as Spam/Phishing directly in your email provider (like Gmail or Outlook) and delete it.
